Fine-Tune your PR and Corporate Communications Writing for Key Audiences
A three-hour workshop on April 24, 2017 for the PRSA Central California Chapter by Pete Codella, MBA, APR
One of the most utilized, important public relations skills is writing. It’s a skill that ought to get better with time, but how often do we get caught-up in a frenetic day-to-day world without taking time to strengthen our writing prowess?
Join us for a morning of hands-on writing exercises, tools and tips led by PRSA volunteer and current Utah Valley University adjunct instructor, Pete Codella. He chaired the PRSA North Pacific District last year, is a former PRSA Las Vegas Valley Chapter president and in 2014, received the Utah Professional Communicator of the Year award.
The three-hour workshop will include:
- Principles of effective, concise writing
- Developing the appropriate voice and writing creatively
- Writing to engage the reader from the start
- Search placement copywriting strategies, tactics and tools
- Effective written storytelling examples
- Opportunities to practice and refine your writing
The writing workshop is for all business and professional communicators from every industry regardless of background. Participants will leave with a handy guide that includes tried and true writing techniques and to be more persuasive and engaging through the written word.
Registration and additional information about Pete’s Write Copy Right Workshop is on the PRSA Central California Chapter’s website.
