Generation Y: the government versus Facebook
Posted in Information on July 2, 2008
I read a very interesting article by social media guru, Jeremiah Owyang. His premise is intriguing:
Who do you think has more information about Generation Y, the U.S. government or Facebook?
If you consider that these 20-somethings most likely joined Facebook in its infancy while they were in college, and that they have basically lived through social media these past handful of years, you could certainly see the perspective that perhaps social media companies know more about them than any other entity.
Like I said, an interesting premise, don’t you think?
If this piques your interest, I highly recommend the article, links and comments. It’s a good read.
